Documenting an enchanting woodland art installation
Over a Bank Holiday weekend in May 2015, some woodland in Belper, Derbyshire was filled with all manner of knitted creatures, flowers and leaves. This was in support of the Here & There project and inspired by the national Voluntary Arts Woollen Woods week.
Over 500 pieces were put into the trees much to the delight of the adults and children who visited. Our job was to document the installation and create a promotional video. We used a GoPro and Canon EOS M to shoot everything on the first day and then edited and sequenced the promo in record time so that it was online by lunchtime the following day to promote the rest of the event.
